How To Order

Secure Shopping Cart
This is the easiest way to order; just click on the button below the item you want to order. You can use the same cart to combine orders from all our stamp sites (the easiest way is to go between "Rubberstamps" and "Sign Language Stamps" in our menu bar at the left). When you're almost done shopping, please go to our shipping page and add shipping and sales tax. If you forget, we will add the appropriate amount for shipping and sales tax.
We accept American Express, Mastercard and Visa on our cart. You can also use the cart for fax and mailed-in orders; just follow the directions when you check out. Our shopping cart is run by Americart.

Printable Mail/Fax Order Form
The procedure is similar to using our secure order form, but you either fax or mail it in. Our fax number is (310) 943-2167. If you mail it in, we can accept checks and money orders as well as American Express, Mastercard and Visa. Checks must be drawn on a U.S. bank and payable to Lost Angeles Rubber Works. We hold check orders 10 business days after receipt to make sure they clear, so this is the slowest method!

Shipping Times and Methods
Currently we usually ship out Thursday, also Tuesday during times of high ordering volume. We try to ship out the nearest shipping day after receiving your payment (please note, mailed-in orders and check orders take longer). Shipping may be slightly delayed when we are going to a show. If an item is back-ordered, it will take longer, but we will try to contact you in that case. We have no control over USPS and UPS shipping times; expect to wait a little longer during the holiday season. Smaller orders will usually be shipped USPS, larger orders (starting around $50) will usually be shipped UPS. Please give us a UPS-shippable street address for larger orders.

Back-ordered Items
We try to keep everything in stock in reasonable quantities, but sometimes we will temporarily run out of a particular item. Our stamps are currently made off-site for us by another U.S. stamp company, known for their quality. Their turnaround time is around 2-3 weeks. Our supplies are from various companies, with turnaround times from 1 to 4 weeks. If an item is back-ordered, we will try to contact you (we need a valid email address for this!). Our usual policy is to ship what is in stock and the back-ordered item later. If you wish to cancel any back-ordered items, please let us know when you order.

For rubberstamping "newbies": a "mounted" stamp is a complete stamp, which includes the rubber printing surface stuck on a wood block. An "unmounted" stamp is just the rubber. If you know how to mount your own stamps, you can save money by buying unmounted (see our "Sorta FAQ" page for details). We now carry HALOS mounts for unmounted stamps, as well as wood grab bags! If you don't want to bother with the extra work, buy mounted. The size (in inches) is given below each design to the nearest 1/4", more or less. If you plan to order unmounted, we suggest you get blocks or other mounts a little larger.

Email address/mailing list
If you have entered an email address on the order form, please make sure it is spelled right and is an email address you check regularly. We may need to contact you about your order, and will use it only for that purpose.
We also have a low-volume mailing list (up to a few emails per month), used for announcements of sales, specials, additions to our product line, and site updates. If you would like to join our mailing list, you can sign up on our index page (look for the Topica banner).
